( Author's Real Head! )

A Note from the Author:

In 2018, I attended the NYU Summer Publishing Institute, got a clip published in the September Print Edition of The Atlantic Magazine, and then pivoted to writing copy for the world’s most powerful search-engine giant, in San Francisco. When I wasn’t busy abetting their world-domination efforts, I was secretly dreaming of writing a book that would fight just as ruthlessly from second to second for readers’ attention-spans as TikTok, but with the quiet confidence of that one friend who knows who they are, and knows that’s enough. Whose paper-crane sentences would melt on readers’ tongues, rock them like babies, and turn their eyes into little spirals of mesmerized delight. Then I realized I didn't know how to do that. So I wrote a bad book instead, told all my friends, and disappeared into editorial purgatory. That's where you find me today: eyes still adjusting to the light, muscles jellified. How long have I had this mustache? Who decided?

You're coming to me at a funny time: after eating, sleeping, and breathing nothing but words for the last six years, I find myself suddenly lost for them. Available inside Icaroo are more than 150,000 of my personal favorites, crackling wickedly, dying to be useful. But the catch is: you have to be the one who opens it first, not me. Those are just the rules. If you need me, I'll be over here learning how to embrace the weirdness of self-promotion.

P.S. No question or comment is too frivolous for this site's contact-form. Abuse it, or I'll feel like I went to coding school for nothing.
